Maureen Martindale is a private tutor and academic coach for children and teenagers who have reading, writing, attention and/or executive function issues. She holds an M.A. in writing and has specialized training in writing disorders, and over 80 hours of training in evidence-based reading methods designed for those who struggle with reading, (Orton-Gillingham, et al). She is a professional member of CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Disorder), and presents regularly at its meetings. Her summer tutorials include one-on-one reading and/or writing tutorials and a curriculum in executive function issues (i.e., organization, planning, time-management, memory techniques, note-taking, test-taking, self-advocacy, and the 16 steps of the research paper).
