Full Moon Farm

A day at Full Moon Farm’s Summer Camp is filled with horse-related everything. Campers will discover the wonderful world of horses and farm life from crafts to lessons! Riding groups are formed by age and previous riding experience, so everyone gets the most out of their daily lessons. Ample assistance is provided for “new horse people”. At Full Moon Farm, each day brings new learning, new adventure, and new fun!

Camp begins promptly at 8:30am each day. Please plan to arrive a few minutes in advance to walk your camper up to registration and sign them in each day. (Please do not drop off your camper before 8:15am.)

Our day ends at 3:00pm; each camper must be signed out at the end of each day.

We tailor each day based on the campers’ interests and abilities, as well as the weather.

Every camper should bring their own lunch in a cooler and a water bottle. Water refills and two daily snacks are provided. Your rider must have long pants and hard-soled shoes with a heel to ride, but may bring a change of clothes and wear shorts during the non-riding portion of the day. We have school helmets available for riding, or riders may bring their own.

We find that campers who have not previously ridden independently often enjoy their camp riding experience even more if they complete a few private lessons before camp begins, but this is not required. We are prepared for all riding abilities! Call the farm line to schedule private lessons before camp starts, if interested.
