Description
Glenelg Country School’s Summer in the Country has been offering quality summer programs for over 30 years. Situated on an idyllic 90-acre wooded campus, our summer programs provide children entering Pre-Kindergarten through Tenth Grade with a fun and educational experience in a relaxed and safe environment.
The Dragon Day Camp is modeled after a “traditional” day camp and offers days filled with arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor activities, weekly themes, running, playing and swimming fun.
A Counselor in Training program is available to provide high-school-age campers with the background and training needed to become excellent camp counselors.
Specialty Camps offer academic enrichment in language, science, and math or emphasize visual arts, foreign language, music, drama, and a variety of other subjects and themes.
Sport camps provide campers the opportunity to work on learning and refining athletic skills, techniques, strategies, game experience, and sportsmanship, while having fun at the same time.
Extended day programs, bus service, swim lessons, and pool memberships are also available.
Daily lunch, snacks, and recreational swim time are included for all camps.
