Description

Brainy Camps provides medically managed, condition specific, residential camps for children, teens and young adults with chronic health conditions. Campers enjoy a few days of summer fun while meeting others like themselves, often for the first time in their lives. They learn about their conditions from experts in the field, form support groups and make friends that last a lifetime. The conditions served include epilepsy, neurofibromatosis, Tourette syndrome, cerebral palsy and partial paralysis, heart disease, sickle cell anemia, high functioning autism, diabetes, hydrocephalus, and Down syndrome.

We also offer family camps that address the issues of childhood obesity and diabetes. A leadership program for teens and a camp for young adults who need extra support to become independent are available. Need-based scholarships and payment plans can be requested.
